Monterey Jazz Festival and Hyatt Regency Team Up for “Wine, Dine and Jazz” to Benefit Jazz Education, October 25

September 30, 2014; Monterey, CA; Monterey Jazz Festival and the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa announce a special fundraiser on Saturday, October 25 to benefit the Festival’s jazz education programs. “Wine, Dine and Jazz” will feature wine from Scheid Vineyards, a partner of the Monterey Jazz Festival and is hosted by the Hyatt’s TusCA Ristorante chefs Steve Johnson and Michael Behan. Music will be provided by David Morwood, Monterey Jazz Festival’s Traveling Clinicians, and jazz students from Monterey County schools, hand-selected by the Clinicians.

“Wine, Dine and Jazz” will take place from 6-9 p.m. at the TusCA Ristorante at Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa at 1 Old Golf Course Road in Monterey. The cost is $55 per person, and tickets can be bought online by going to www.WineDineJazzMonterey.com or to www.eventbrite.com.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the Festival’s local jazz education programs, including the Traveling Clinicians, Summer Jazz Camp, the Instrument Bank, and the County All-Star Bands.
