The Monterey Jazz Festival’s education team of Paul Contos, ReNae Jackson and Timothy Orr are at the Jazz Education Network Convention in Dallas, Texas, from January 3-6. Aside from talking to students about our upcoming Next Generation Jazz Festival, Next Generation Jazz Orchestra and Summer Jazz Camp, we have been catching up with some old friends – including our partners DownBeat Magazine, and friends from the Brubeck Institute, Yamaha, Vandoren Reeds, and many others.
