Single Day Premier Club Passes Also On Sale,
Provides VIP Experience

July 8, 2013; Monterey, CA; Single Day Arena Tickets, Single Day Grounds Tickets and Single Day Premier Club Passes for the Monterey Jazz Festival, September 20-22, go on sale Monday, July 8 at 9 a.m. PST.

Friday’s Single Day Arena Tickets are $66 and include three Arena performances and 14 additional Grounds performances and activities on seven stages. Saturday or Sundays Single Day Arena Tickets are $132 and include five Arena performances and more than 30 additional shows and activities on seven stages each day.

Single Day Grounds Tickets are $40 for Friday and $50 Saturday or Sunday and include access to all Grounds shows and activities on seven stages each day, including Simulcasts of Arena shows in the Jazz Theater Presented by Alaska Airlines.

Single Day Premier Club Passes are $65 for Friday and $100 for Saturday or Sunday. Premier Club Passes include a furnished setting offering closed-circuit Arena simulcasts, visits by Festival artists, a no-host bar, complimentary buffet meal and non-alcoholic beverages, live music, private restrooms, and a Festival Souvenir Magazine. The Premier Club will feature a Motema Music 10th Anniversary Celebration reception, Friday, September 20 from 6:30pm-7:30pm. Saturday, September 21 includes a Motema Music Artist Meet & Greet. Purchase of an Arena or Grounds Ticket is required to purchase a Premier Club pass. A Premier Club Pass does not allow entry to the Monterey Jazz Festival. Premier Club Passes are nontransferable.

Performing in the Arena on Friday, September 20 is Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club, Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, and Gregory Porter.

Performing in the Arena on Saturday, September 21 is Bobby McFerrin, Dave Holland’s PRISM featuring Kevin Eubanks, Craig Taborn & Eric Harland; Joe Lovano & Dave Douglas Quintet: Sound Prints; George Benson; and The Relatives.

Performing in the Arena on Sunday, September 22 is Diana Krall in her only Northern California appearance; Wayne Shorter Quartet; Bob James & David Sanborn Featuring Steve Gadd & James Genus; Next Generation Jazz Orchestra directed by Paul Contos with Joe Lovano; and the Folsom High School Jazz Band I.

All Single Day Arena and Grounds Tickets and Premier Access Passes may be purchased by phone at 888.248.6499 and on the Monterey Jazz Festival’s Web site, www.montereyjazzfestival.org.

Also on sale now are Arena Package Tickets, offering a reserved seat to all 13 concerts on the Arena/Jimmy Lyons Stage (renewable annually), and access to 85 different shows and activities on seven Grounds Stages, starting at $225. Full Weekend Grounds Tickets are also on sale, for $125. Full Weekend Premier Club Passes are also available for $265.
